Correcting text messages.

Hi

 

Can anyone help me. As you all probably do, I,m prone to making mistakes texting. How can i go to a line or two above the end of message to correct a mistake with out deleting all message.

On the Bold or any trackball device, scroll up and over right or left to the place you need to edit, and edit.

 

SHIFT + scroll to highlight a full word or more to delete.

Thanks for reply. Cant seem to do that on the storm though. Can only seem to hold one key down at a time.

Oh, you posted in the 9000 Bold section here and gave no clue you were using a Storm.

 

  • To highlight an item, touch the screen lightly.
  • To select an item or to place the cursor, click
    (press) the screen.
  • To cut or copy text and paste it into an
    application, simultaneously touch the screen
    before and after the text that you want to copy.
    Click the cut or copy icon at the bottom of the
    screen. Place the cursor where you want to insert
    the cut or copied text. Press the Menu key. Click
    Paste.
