Crunch SMS

Is there any way to make Crunch SMS the only place SMS texts come through...?

Atm I am getting every text on Crunch and also in the standard message folder, so I am having to read it twice everytime, plus I'm guessing it must take up more memory to have everything on the phone twice?!

Re: Crunch SMS

well if you haven't yet figured it out you have to go to options, firewall and then block the sms option that should stop the sms coming as your regular txt messages

But it raises another question. Does crunch support MMS ?

If not, how to make the BB sms reader to receive the mms only ?

The following is copied directly from the crunch website

How do I stop messages going to the regular SMS inbox?

Easy! Just block incoming SMS messages (crunchSMS will still receive them): go to Options from the Desktop > Security Options > Firewall, and tick the "SMS" box. Then save. Note that you don't need to enable the firewall!

If you find some messages are being blocked that should still go to your regular inbox, for example voicemail notifications maybe, you can make an exception for those: in the Firewall screen, there's an option "Except messages from Specific Addresses". Tick that. Then, in the menu you get a new item called "Configure Exceptions". Add the number where you get your voicemail notifications from.

Does crunchSMS support picture messages?

MMS is not yet supported.

Re: Crunch SMS

Go to Options > Security Options > Firewall > Select "SMS" in the Block Incoming Messages

By doing this, it will block messages from the standard inbox and only send them to CrunchSMS

Re: Crunch SMS

picture messaging are MMS.  Go to crunchSMS options and turn on the MMS and auto download of MMS.  Then you'll see pictures coming.
