nothing to worry now.. i just removed my simcard and inserted it back.. and the device restarted again.. Smiley Very Happy anyways thanks for your concern..

hey guys i have the same problem but no matter what i do it looks like it is of no use. i downloaded the os and all the req programs than i followed the instructions but no matter what i do i dont get the options mentioned in step 5 my battery works fine when i put it in someelses cellphone it works but not one mine so i know its not the battery not the usb cord as well so what is the easiest way to upload os on my bb and get rid of the solid red light plz help

If you are not seeing the available OS to load, then you have either not installed the OS file to your PC, you've installed the wrong file for another model, or you have not deleted ALL of the vendor.xml files on your PC.

 

Search your entire PC and all hidden folders for vendor.xml and delete each of them,.
