You can set the encryption mode under options>media card.

Re: Curve 8330: How can I secure a picture folder?

I'd like to know how to do this, as well.  I went to Options - Media Card - Encryption Mode and then selected "Security Password & Device".  I also chose "yes" for "Encrypt Media Files"  but nothing has changed.  Shouldn't I get prompted for my password now?  Seems like I can still access the media card the same - even after saving these changes.  Am I missing something?  Thanks.

Re: Curve 8330: How can I secure a picture folder?

i dont use an encryption or password, but what my method is.

make a new folder where your pictures are. move pictures in to that folder as you wish, Click menu butten on that folder and go to properties. Choose to hide the folder. The only way i know of getting to the folder this was is opening the Quicklaunch media menu, Menu > explore> go to your pictures folder > click menu > show hidden

Unless some one knows a BlackBerry Well, they will never figure that out

thats what i do anyways lol
