Curve 8520 Freezing, Shutting down, can't move trackball

Hi,

 

Recent error on my phone "Uncaught Exception: Index 4>=4"

 

I cannot click on anything. I've charged my phone, turned it on and the date set option comes up and I've tried to click ok and nothing, then it goes black and the phone turns off.  I've pulled the battery, charged it, turned the phone on, nothing.  This has been going on for over a week.

 

HELP!

Its hard to tell if there is an app causing this issue.  did you install something recently?

If so try to remove the app in safe mode.  When you get a chance, do a battery pull.  When the red light goes away on the front of the phone, hold down the back button the entire time while the phone is booting up.  When the boot is complete, the phone will enter safe mode.

If not a software reload may be in order.
