Curve 8520 - not rebooting

Hiya

 

I recently updated the OS to version 5 and slowly ive been reinstalling some external applications such as sky sports and facebook.

 

Today ive reinstalled the ebay app.

 

However after hitting the reboot now button, my phone has failed to reboot,.

 

I have tried to do a soft reboot as well as a hard reboot but nothing seems to work. The only life the phone has is the LED indicator flashes red intermittantly.

 

I have plugged the charger in and it still does nothing either.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Just to let you know that my step son has now fixed it by removing the battery, sim card, sd card and pressing the rest button.
