Curve 8900 video transferred to PC, but no sound

I have transferred my videos from my phone to my PC, and the video looks great, but there is no audio. How do I fix this?? I really want to be able to send the video to family and it is of course too big to email from the phone.

I tried installing VLC, but it didn't work that way either.

Does anyone know how to fix this??

Thanks!

It says this in the Audio Codec box:

Codec:  samr: AMR Narrowband

Info: 1000Hz

Status Undetermined

Re: Curve 8900 video transferred to PC, but no sound

this AMR codec is designed for mobile device sound rcording. It was designed for worldwide, but due to licencing issues, the decoder is not available on all regular players. I know you can use Real Media Player or Apple QuickTime Player to get the sound.

Or you can try to convert the file. If I were you I would try and upload the video on YouTube and see if youtube can handle the audio conversion. Then it will be easier for you to share that video with your close ones.
