I'm using a BlackBerry Curve 9300. My trackpad has stopped working. I've tried taking the battery out and then re-inserting after a few minutes but that did not work. What is causing my trackpad to freeze? What other ways can I try to solve my problem?

If you have a previous backup then try Reloading your device Software and see if that helps or else you may have to replace the Trackpad to fix your issue :

Please try it to see if that helps or replace your trackpad.
