I recently have had an issue where my curve 9300 is unable to read my SIM card, saying that it needs to be unlocked. This began after my sister put her SIM from her phone ((also a curve 9300 from Telus) into my phone for a few minutes, and later switched the SIM back to the original. My phone was fine for about a day, and then it started saying it needed to be unlocked, and has no service. I checked to see what my network was, and it says that it connected to Rogers. I am with Telus.
I have tried taking out the battery, restarting the phone, removing the SIM card, and even adding a piece of paper to make it fit more snug. None of the above tactics worked. My SIM is the same one I bought with the phone.
I am unsure on what I can do, and I really don't want to have to buy a new SIM.
Can anyone help me out here? It will not let me manually search for networks either, saying that it failed and I should try again later.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
