If I understand correctly, you changed your email account password on your email server, but are unable to now change the password that is stored in BIS so that your BB can again work with your email account. Correct?
If so, what have you tried? "cannot change it" does not give us much of a hint. There are several methods to try...
1) Go into the on-device email configuration wizard and edit the configuration for that email account.
2) From a PC/Browser, use your carriers BIS website
3) From your BB Browser, try www.blackberry.com/integrate

Many thanks. Was so frustrated last night that I called the blackberry/orange help deck. After 40 minutes on the phone they managed to sort out the issue. I have decided to change to the same BB model as my wife has as her's is a much later model.
