Curve 9320 Transfer to Lexus IS 350 Car Kit

Maybe I am going mad, yet I follow instructions and while the user manual states ......

Share contacts with a paired Bluetooth enabled car kit

  1. On the home screen, click the connections area at the top of the screen, or click the Manage Connections icon.

  2. Click Networks and Connections > Bluetooth Connections.

  3. Highlight a Bluetooth enabled car kit.

  4. Press the key > Transfer Contacts.

I highlight the car kit and its not connected. I connect it and then is still doesnt work???

Any ideas as I am going around in circles as I cant get my contacts onto my car kit?
