Curve 9360 software update problem

Hi, yesterday night I did a software update (7.0 to 7.1) and it finished downloading and started the backup process, but my phone got flat and went "radio off", so now its stuck on 12%. I put it back on charge but the signal wont come back on so it can't update, I tried rebooting, taking the sim out, everything. But as soon as the phone comes back on its stuck on the update screen with the radio off? So my question is, how do I get the signal back on so that it can finish updating and work again??

To resolve this issue, please try to complete the BlackBerry® Device Software upgrade using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software. The steps in the following KB article should help reload the software.
