Curve shutting down

I know I have seen this before, however, I had not had the problem.  I have been the owner of my curve for 6 weeks and I LOVE IT.  Today, without warning, it shut down without notice.  This happened on 2 different times. (rebooting on own, etc) I have Verizon and there is no upgrade yet.  i have 4.3 OS.   I also have the calls that I cant hear anyone yet they can hear me - (So essentially I have 2 problems)  I dont want to take my pink curve back if i dont have too!!  Thanks again for all your help on here.  I am learnin so much from many of you!!

Re: Curve shutting down

For the volume issue, see what your default call volume is set to.

If you go into your Phone/Call Log icon, hit your menu button and go into Options. Next go into General Options. What's your default call volume set to? If below 50% try changing to 100% or something closer to 100%.

See if that makes a difference on a call.

Re: Curve shutting down

Pull the battery while the device is ON, replace after a minute, Let the device reboot 1-3 min,

I think it's a memory issue, the mms may not go.
