DESKTOP MANAGER HELP!!

I'm kind of confused about what to use so I can edit phone #,s email addresses and pictures/ringtons for the people in my address book.  My friend has a palm and the program he used is very simple, so I'm either not using the right program or doing something wrong!  I have the desktop manager for the curve but I want to be able to add/change my address book around without doing it only on my phone.

THANKS!!!!!

Re: DESKTOP MANAGER HELP!!

You would use either Outlook or Outlook Express to sync your BB data with, and edit them there in Outlook, then sync back to the BB.

All done via Desktop Manager > Synchronize.

Re: DESKTOP MANAGER HELP!!

i opened the address book and was able to view my contacts. Is there a way in there to setup different ringtones for the contacts or to associate a picture file with each contact?

THANKS!

Hi,

Ringtones can be setup under PROFILES - ADVANCE- SELECT PROFILE here you can setup ringtones for phone and messages.

If you scroll down to USE ACTIVE PROFILE EXCEPT FOR you can select ringtones for individuals or groups.

You can setup the ringtone for the person when you set them up in the address book, enter the info and MENU KEY

select ringtone.

In the setting up the address book entry , you can also select a picture for the contact. MENU KEY add picture.

If you need more information, please ask!
