Data plan?



Ive recently bought a new blackberry curve 9320 for christmas. It works perfectly but I am so confused with the internet! Everytime I leave home and return, i have to restart my phone to connect to my wifi again so it will work. Twitter and facebook keep telling me I need a 'data plan'. Do i need a data plan because I certainly dont want one! Most of my friends have blackberries and they've told me it wasnt this confusing to set up the internet connection! Please help me!

You do need the BlackBerry data plan from Vodafone for most BlackBerry services such as email, etc.


Some apps such as AppWorld and Facebook will work with only the WiFi connection. I honestly don't recall about Twitter.

But facebook will work without it, it justs requires me to restart the phone! I dont care about emails to be honest! Is there any easy way around this?! thanks for the quick reply! Smiley Happy

There is NO OTHER workaround beside what JSanders mentioned. Wither you have Blackberry data plan or you use some apps using Wi-Fi connectivity.
