I have a brand new Bold and I am very happy with it but,
The date on the today screen shows mm/dd and since I live in the Netherlands I would really like it to be dd/mm.
Is there a way to change this?
Also the date in the banner shows 'Monday October 27' and the standard in the Netherlands is 'Monday 27 October'.
Do I have to make a custom theme or is it a system setting?

It's called the Today plus theme

yes, like the today plus theme. The problem with the today plus theme is that is doesn't work on the BB Bold 9000.
so please tel me how to create a theme or where the option is hidden on the bold that modifies the date format.

I didn't think that the Bold being pretty new, haven't had themes adapted for it.
I did find an article that explains how to unlock themes, I do not know if it will work
on the Bold.
You hadn't mentioned that you knew about the today theme plus. I imagine it will take a custom
theme to produce what you want.
If you need more info please ask! If not please resolve the thread using the options by the Kudos’ star, Just place the check in the Post that answered your question, Thanks

Thanks for the unlock themes link but that wil only give me the vendor themes and none of those have the today option enabled.
I have experimented with the theme creator (Plazmic CDK 4.6 for BlackBerry) and made my own today theme for the Blackberry Bold 9000. this theme works fine except for the date formatting.
could anybody tell me how to change the formatting in Plazmic or in the Bold software itself?
