I'm disappointed with my Blackberry Bold 9900, I cannot turn my phone on it appears to be locked or dead. I have tried charging it for days only to have a red light flash for sometime then stays a solid red. I tried plugging it in to my computer to connect to the Blackberry Manager that also failed. I have gone to my phone provider and they could not help me since I did not purchase the phone from them, it was given to me as a gift just over a year ago. I have received little help.....as a first time BB and financial investor this is very frustrating.
My phone provider were kind enough to loan me an older model Blackberry no touch screen, they suggested I contact Blackberry directly for assistance. I have been without my phone for about 2 months now.
I hoping someone can help with this dead phone and hopefully retrieve my pictures of my grandchildren.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem.
Good luck and let us know!
