How do you delete an email address that you cannot log in to? I do not know my user name or password for a .edu email address. I was planning on deleting this address on the BB and then setting it up again, but I cannot figure out how to do so. Any help would be appreciated.

To delete the mail account follow this steps
1- go to menu, options, advanced options, service books, look for the 2 service books with your mail account, one with CICAL and another one with CMIME and delete both.
2- with the phone turn on, take out the battery for 30 seconds and install the battery again.

My father uses a torch 9800 now, he hasn't been receiving emails. he doesn't remember the BIS password or username either so the only way is to delete the accounts and re-add them.
but on the service books i cannot delete the emails.
what should i do ?
