Desk top manager stopped working

I recently had some window 7 updates, Since then my desktop manager won't work. I have uninstalled it and cleared everything out and re-installed to no avail. I have checked the compatibility and checked that it is on window 7.


When I launch the Blackberry logo comes up then a dialogue box for lack of a better name comes up and just sits there. After a while it states that it is not responding.
