Same here on 9/14 i installed 6.0 bundle 47 and performed a sync now when backing up i get an error that not all settings were saved and the details indicate theme settings weren't backed up, in my backup file folder i can see 16.ipd or whatever backup copy number it is but my dm says last completed backup was the 14th if i try to view any of my previous applications in add/remove nothing shows of any backed up but removed from device 3rd party apps only the currently installed ones the only options i have to retore apps are any of the preloaded ones that i removed before, i have uninstalled and reinstalled the software figuring it might be something else i even did a system restore to the date prior to installing bundle 47 no luck, i have hard reset my phone varios times and when connecting my device a backup will run but the software wont recognize the last date correctly that a file was backed up even though i have the files in my folder at this time i guess i'm going to try a 'clean uninstall including any registry items and reinstall as unforturnately i dont have another pc to try this from, extremely frustrated with this as i cannot be sure if i can trust my backup files since i can't see any of the apps i should in the loader.

I'm having the same problem. I uninstall DM6 and went back to DM5 then updated back to 6. It woked once but it's now it's back to not showing it the right date of back up and I scheduling backups does nothing. It auto back ups everytime I connect. I did find that it is actually backing up, just not showing right on the Last Backup Date.
RIM...can you fix this for us please?

same here. it worked once, then started backing up every time i connected. i un-installed and re-installed. three times. it works for a while, then starts doing it again. desktop manager says it's never been synched and has the last backup date as the date of the last un-install re-install.

Seriously? There is no solution to this YET? Some of these posters date back to September. So those of us using RIM's NEWEST software version and Outlook 2010 cannot use the automatic backuup feature because it kicks in EVERY time you try to sync because it doesn't remember the last time it backed up - and a key feature of the software is to allow auto backups every week, or 2 weeks - or whatever?
Pathetic. Another reason to go to Apple.
