Desktop Manager 7 seriously broken

WHen is RIM going to release a fix for Desktop Manager 7.


I installed it yesterday, and haven't been able to sync my Torch 9800 since - the process gets to a message "preparing sync view: then sits there for 8 plus hours!


This release has further weakened my belief in RIM as a viable company to deal with!


When will RIM learn to release good software.

To answer your specific question, now here knows the "when", as this is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. RIM personnel rarely comment on queries posted here. 


However, I am certain RIM is aware of the issue and working on it. I don't know when.


And I feel for you, yea, the Desktop Software v7 is bad.
