Desktop Manager Ver 610_b038

I have been using the Desktop Manager software to sync my Blackberry for the past 4 years (various models/versions) with Outlook (not on an Enterprise server).  Last week my contact list on my SmartPhone went blank and after some searching noticed my Desktop Manager was showing Address Book (not installed).  I went back into the Organizer and selected all the appropriate items to get it working but when I selected Sync it went back to Address Book (not installed).  How can I get my Contacts back into my phone (I have more than 300 business contacts that I need!!)?  I also went back and downgraded my software version and the problem did not fix itself.
