Desktop Manager Very Slow

I am using Desktop Manager ver 4.6 on a XP machine. It is very slow to load, and  Media Manager is even slower. When I try to move pictures, it honestly takes forever for the system to acknowledge the selection and more time to make the transfer? Any ideas?

Thanks JR

Yes, the DM sync is slow with DM version 4.6, as it was with DM 4.5 as well.

I honestly would recommend not loading or using Media Manager. Rather, you can enable Mass Storage on your Media Card (Options > Media Card) and then use your Media Card on the PC as a simple removable drive to drag and drop files back and forth from the PC.

Re: Desktop Manager Very Slow

Thank you,

I have media option on, but it says no media card inserted. I do not see where to insert one? Under battery?

under the battery you have one or two metal doors. If you have two, then one of them holds the SIM card (= your subscriber card) and the other holds a memory card. If you have one door, then it's the one for memory card.

You have to slide a door first, then it will open like a real door (rotation).

Re: Desktop Manager Very Slow

Many people encounter the following computer problems: take a long time to startup, load websites or run programs. Recently I found a good software which can fix all these problems just with 1 click: tuneup360, you could have a try.
