Desktop Manager crashes as soon as I input my device password

All,

 

I'm trying to backup my BB device (9700) T-Mobile OS 6. I have the latest Desktop Manager 6 on my Win 7 Enterprise 64 BIT PC. As soon as the device is connected, DM comes up with password prompt. I enter my password and it instantly crashes. If I RUN-AS Admin for Desktop Manager, it opens, but doesn't recognize any devices connected. I also tried connected my device to a Win XP Pro SP3 32bit PC and it does the same thing. Any suggestions?
