Desktop Manager for MAC - Show Other Options Greyed Out - Need to Reload OS to Fix Trackpad Issues

Sorry for the long title, but I have a few different things going on.

I'm using a 9780 and the trackpad is unresponsive. I tried swapping track pads with my old 9700 and the hardware isn't the issue. Both trackpads work on the 9700, neither works on the 9780.

I downloaded Blackberry Desktop Manager for MAC. When I go to Applications - Check for Updates, the Show Other Versions option is greyed out. Is there a fix for this or is there any other way to reinstall the OS? Or, is there any other possible fix for the trackpad issues that doesn't involve reinstalling the OS and that I can do on a MAC?

Thanks for all your help!

Hey jvnanu,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

I would suggest following the steps in this KB article to address your trackpad issue: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB29640

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.
