Desktop Software

Have installed software but when I attempt to run just says "has encoutered a problem and need s to close".  Any thoughts?

I have some a problem. I think the problem in the install file.
Refer in the previous answer doesn't help.

Which version are you trying to install? Platform?
If the install has been completed sucesfully then its not installation problem.

The problem I have is trying to load DM onto my laptop. Using 9900 and I need to connect to Internet to download software. I am trying to tether the 9900 so that I can use as a modem???? Just sounds crazy that I need an Internet connection for software that should be provided with the phone?
