I also was able to uninstall V7 and install V6. Hopefully BlackBerry will fix the problem BEFORE releasing it again.

Thanks, Mary.  That worked for me too.  Deleted v7 first and then reinstalled v6.1.  did not need to reboot by desktop before re-installing.
