Desktop manager/BBM Contact backup

Alright after one test run of doing a full backup the 6.01 desktop manager software, it doesn't take a backup of BBM contacts. Even if one were to go into BBM options and save a copy locally the backup doesn't take the file? Phone in question is a 8330 so accessing the actual data isn't possible as far as I know like it is with a 9800 via My Computer/Explorer so that one may copy the backup file.

I have tried using the remot backup for BBM in the past and that failed me so I don't trust it.

Opinion/Input for the best method to get a proper backup of BBM contacts in this situation with the 8330?

Thanks in advance.
