I have a problem that I can't seem to solve. The sync runs fine for contacts, but after reading and processing my device calendar the software crashes when trying to read my Outlook calendar. This has been a problem for several months now (used to work) so I upgraded to 4.6 in hopes that I'd solve it and it hasn't.
Some threads say to delete the Intellisync folder - but with 4.6 I don't have anything called that.
I'm running Vista with an 8820 - does anyone else have this problem?

I am having the identical issue; sync runs perfectly for contacts, but the desktop software crashes during the calendar sync. I am running 4.6 on Vista Home Premium using an 8330.
Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The following solution seems to have worked for me. I cleared all of the calendar information on my Blackberrry device, following the instructions found here: How to Clear/Delete all your Address/Calendar items at once
The subsequent sync worked perfectly.

1. Uninstall the software
2. Turn off your antivirus
3. Turn off your User Account Control (in the control panel)
4. Re-install the software
5. Try the sync - if it works - turn everying else back on.
This worked for me today - let me know how it goes
