Desktop upgrade won't sync with Win 7 & Outlook 2007

Desktop V7.0 PC sync lockup ... After installing V7.0, cannot sync with my BB Bold 9900 on a Win7 desktop using Outlook 2007 (all Win7 and Office updates have been applied).  Even left overnight to see if it would quit its endless loop.  Finally identified non-existent conflicts . . . now have no way of reliably syncing.  Frustrated.
