Desperate on vacation

My blackberry indicates it is at 60% and it won't budge although it indicates it is chargeing.  I have charged it for a few hours and nothing.  I am going to be in trouble as it is my only form of communication for work and personal from this tiny Caribbean island. I have taken battery and sim card out and back in.

Re: Desperate on vacation

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Are you using a wall charger?

Do you have to use an AC adapter for 110 V AC?

If you can access a PC try to "bleed" a low charge into the BB

via the USB cable.

Re: Desperate on vacation

I do have a wall charger and I also have a 110 adapter which was working fine with the blackberry before and is working on all other electronics.  I got your message and tried charging it into another person's computer overnight with a usb cord.  It is now at 50 %?  Should I leave it plugged in?  Should I leave it off or on plugged in.  The indicator is flashing when I leave it plugged in and off which may drain it further.  Any ideas would help.
