Re: Device OS version shown wrong in Desktop Manager

Searched.  Not there.  You hadn't answered an earlier question re: can I install .185 without it updating my device, but I was advised in a different thread that I could, so I downloaded and installed the .185 OS to the PC.  After that, the <Help ---> About BDM ---> Device Software> screen shows the .185 but also shows the older OS, which is NOT on my machine.  I found the newer OS installed using Windows Explorer, and it was the only OS installed.

So although things are now better in that the Desktop Manager shows the, it's also pretty weird that it also shows when you go into the Help ---> About BDM ---> Device Software.   So where is it picking up the old OS from?

Re: Device OS version shown wrong in Desktop Manager

Well, that answers your questions then, you uninstalled the OSs, (maybe in your sleep? Smiley Happy

I don't know why DM states .162 is there. I guess it doesn't matter.

Still curious about how that OS went missing off your PC. I am betting it's there.
