Did Security Wipe...now what?

[ Edited ]

OK, I got a Storm from a friend. I did a security wipe to remove all of their info, pics, music, etc.

I dont have Browser, and have no Apps? I'm a first time BlackBerry user, and I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out Smiley Happy

Also, when I go to Phone and where it says "My Number"-- the one showing is not my number. But, on Verizon's site, it is correct?

Both my Service Log and Host Routing Table are coming up with No Entries.

Please help if you can!

Re: Did Security Wipe...now what?

1. Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as addtional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more. So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.

2. Press the green dial key and dial ##000000 and press the green dial key again to enter the Verizon setup, and follow the instructions there.
