Did a software update and my broweser disapeared!

After seeing a software update to version 4.7, i completed the installation but when I tried to use the internet, a message comes up saying "Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries.  Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device." 

 

Does anyone know a a way to gix this without having to deal with Verizon?

Service books seem to be goofy with Blackberry's when it comes to the browser.  The fix is very easy....call verizon from any phone but your BB and they will have you delete the Browser Service book (you don't need to delete all of them like they ask you!!)and they will push the service books back out to you.  That easy.

Once you go Black you don't go Back!

You can can do an activation and send service books without having to call Verizon.

Would you like the procedures of would you prefer to wait for Verizon? We do it one the

forums here on a regular basis.

How do you do this without Verizon and what information do you need?  Sounds like you want to get people's PIN and cell information for hacking eh? Maybe I am just naive Smiley Happy

At no time does the user release any information to anyone here at the user forums.

Hi,

I suggest you wait and work with Verizon.

I don't want there to be concerns about shared data,

or concerns about illegalities.

 

WHen you have a user here for a awhile you will see that is common place.

And quite easy to do. I think then you will use the functions yourself.

Mine did the samething. I just took battery out and then restarted and it came back.
