First, try a battery pull reboot and see if the commands are in place after the reboot.
I don't understand why they wouldn't be, otherwise.
Can you open the attachments at all?

Try the following and see what happens:
Window - Open the Desktop Manager, Connect the blackberry, Select the Application loader, Uncheck the Documents to go, then click next and let it uninstall.
Then reboot the blackberry "alt+left caplock+delete"
Then load the application that you purchased following the instructions.
