New Torch 9810 OS7 with Docs to Go 3.0 replacing Torch 9800 (now deceased; bouncing it onto a concrete floor from ~8' is not good, LOL).
I have Docs to Go Premium 2.0 on my laptop. I cannot Add a Device and pair the 9810 no matter what I do. As a result, I'm not able to sync files on my laptop with the Torch 9810. I originally purchased Docs to Go from DataViz in 2008, including upgrades over the years.
It appears as though Premium 2.0 may only work with OS 5/6, not OS 7. Cannot seem to find a definitive answer on RIM or DataViz sites. In fact, DataViz apparently does not support Docs to Go for the Torch 9810.
I know OS 7 is very new, but can anyone provide any assistance or guide me to the proper place to ask questions?

[P.S. I'm fairly certain I can update my Torch 9810 manually for the time being. It's just that I would prefer being able to sync seamlessly as I did when the Torch 9800 was still alive.]

I had the same problem until I discovered that BB have not packaged "Docs to Go Files" in with their version of Docs to Go Premium. You need the DtG Files element to sync your phone to your PC. You can download it by going to http://www.dataviz.com/getFiles in your phone's browser, but be warned - it has not worked well for me:
1. After accessing files in Docs to Go Premium for OS 7 on my phone, they often get completely and irrecoverably corrupted when I later sync them with my laptop. This happens to both copies of the file (laptop and phone). This doesn't always happen but it has happened 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I cannot for the life of me figure out what specific action or circumstance causes this.
2.The download off getFiles gives you a 30 day trial. I do have a activation key, but it wont respond to a click on the "Activate" button, so it seems you cannot get a permanent copy.
If there is anyone out there who can help, I'd appreciate it. The fact is Docs to Go worked great on my 9700 on OS 6, but its so dysfunctional on my 9900 running OS 7 that it is almost unusable. I use this so heavily that I am thinking of going to an IPhone where I know that iTunes syncs without problems.

Yes! Finally found that out after a call *from* Senior-level RIM Support. This was *after* a few calls, a terse letter to RIM Corporate HQ and really bad technical advice from RIM Support that basically said "no can do.. you have to manually sync."
The Senior support specialist did say the directions were unclear. That's what happens when RIM owns the BB part of Docs to Go and DataViz owns the Desktop application. DataViz is not without some culpability here. They just "wash their hands" at *any* question involving RIM and Docs to Go, even they own the Desktop version used to sync with the BB.
I'll have to see how it works over time, but let's say that I'm cautiously optimistic. (That means I'll be surprised if it works 100% of the time!)

I am also having problems with Documents to go on my 9810 OS7. When trying to pair I get as far as a message "Mass Stroage Mode Warning". According to the info on Data Viz insturctions by clocking on charge when connecting BB to PC takes care of the mass storage for OS6 and I suppose above. I have tried everything I can find to turn off mass storage with out any success. Any ideas?
