It sounds like Documents to Go® Premium Edition was installed, which has a cost to use that version. I suggest removing Documents to Go by going to Options>Device>Application Management.
You can reinstall the free version from BlackBerry® Desktop Software on a PC. Follow the steps in this Blog Post to add Documents To Go free edition on the BlackBerry® smartphone: http://helpblog.blackberry.com/2011/02/add-and-rem
