Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your BlackBerry® Curve™ 3G smartphone.
Does this cursor scrolling happen within a specific application or in general? Are you in direct sunlight when this happens?
If you reboot by pulling the battery does the cursor still randomly scroll?
You can test to see if this is a software issue by reinstalling your software. Use BlackBerry® Desktop Software and backup your data.
Follow the steps in KB11320 How to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Device Software for Windows or
KB19915 Perform a clean reload of BlackBerry smartphone application software using BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Mac computer
After the reload, test the trackpad before any data is restored. Should it still scroll randomly then it would be advised you contact your point of sale to investigate hardware repairs.
