Downgrading OS Version

Not happy with v6 so I wish to return to v5.  Does manually reloading of the OS allow me to move back to an earlier version?

Well, it depends on exactly what you mean by "manually reloading"...I can interpret that many ways. But, if you use the proper tools, you can indeed install any OS package for your specific model number that you can download from the official portal:

Meaning that instead of letting the web site provide me with the "latest" version, I manually pick the version I want and install it... using the proper tools of course! Thank you.
