Duplicate emails being received

I am on BIS, running .148 and I recieve duplicate emails all the time. Very annoying having to delete everything twice. This has been happening since the beginning. Can anyone please explain why this happens and I would be very grateful if someone can provide me with and solution.  Thank you. p s I think this forum is great. Learned alot from it.

Hi,

So you have a Blackberry address (username@vzw.blackberry.net)?

Any other BIS accounts Gmail, Yahoo, etc.?

Here is an article to start troubleshooting the problem with.

Disregard the BES causes.

No I am sorry I misunderstood I guess, I do not have a blackberry address. My email address is through a local isp.

Hi,

It would help us if you were a little more explicit in your replies.

What is the ISP? Is it just received mail?

Do you have the email address setup on your PC?

If so do you get duplicates on the PC as well?

On the link I sent did you did you check causes 2,3,4,8,9?

I am sorry, I am running Outlook 2007, my email address is setup on my PC. The ISP is cox communications. I receive and send emails. I have no other email accounts, I do not receive duplicate emails on the pc only on the bb.

I have not had the chance to check out the link that you sent as I'm at work right now but I will as soon as I can. I hope I have done a better job of explaining myself this time, again I apologize.

Please take your personal email out of the post.

You check the items in the link, and also check your settings on

COX for your account.

Are you leaving a copy of the message on the server or not?
