Duplicate emails being sent from my bold 9900

Hi wondering if someone can help me on this one. This last week every once and a while when I send out an email from my bold 9900 it gets duplicated and is sent out twice. So for example if I send an email out to someone, that person would get that email twice.

Thanks

Re: Duplicate emails being sent from my bold 9900

Hello rudy22 and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

Sorry to hear you are having email issues with your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 smartphone.

Do you have more than one email integrated on your smartphone? If so, does this happen with all emails or one in particular?

Does this duplication happen to all contacts you send an email to or just certain ones?

Thanks!

Re: Duplicate emails being sent from my bold 9900

Thanks for the reply HMthePirate,

yes I do have two emails set up on my smartphone. It seems like it doesn't happen to both emails but not 100% sure because have only seen it on one.

As for the duplication for all contacts, again I wouldn't be 100% sure because I haven't sent an email to all my contacts, but recently sent emails to new contacts and seen the duplication.

Thanks for the help

Re: Duplicate emails being sent from my bold 9900

Can you private message me your PIN and the email address which is sending the duplicate email? I can take a look for you.

Thanks!

HI igorjuricek,

Delete your Gmail account and re-add it to your device.

After the account has been added back, send a test email to ensure the duplications have ceased.

Also, if you could private message me your PIN I can investigate further for you.

Thanks!

Hey igorjuricek,

Do you use your Gmail account with more than 1 carrier?

Since the RefIDs are different, you will need to contact your mobile network carrier to investigate further.

Thanks!
