E-mail account change

I have to change my e-mail password (according to an e-mail received from Blackberry) however when I click on setup e-mails....nothing comes up and when I try to exit my screen freezes and I have to pull out the battery to reboot.  Why doesn't the e-mails accounts come up so that I can change the password?  I can't get my e-mails anymore until this is fixed?

Contact your wireless service provider and make sure that your BB data plan is still provisioned properly.
