I just recently began having problems with my BlackBerry Pearl. I cannot hear anything from the phone ear piece. The person on the line can hear me, but I can't hear them. The only way I am able to use my phone Is by using the speaker phone system. Can someone help me with some information as to if this is a problem that can be fixed, or do I need to trash the phone... Or if BlackBerry have some kind of program that replaces or repairs the phones. I'm on the AT&T network, but I know they will pretty much say they can't help me with this problem. Thanks for any help that you can provide..

Honestly, if your device is not under the one year warranty of ATT, probably you won't get much help from them.
First, I suggest that you remove the battery of the device and reinsert to reboot the BB. Try the earpiece again. If it remains non-working, think of repairing it through a shop like www. horizonwirelessonline.com, or replacing the handset altogether.

I have a fix for the problem. I'm going to buy an iPhone and trash the Blackberry Pearl. I'll never again buy a RIM Blackberry product again. I'll tell at least 10 other people every month NOT to buy Blackberry products. Let's boycott this crappy product from a stupid Canadian company that cannot spell QUALITY!
