I have been using nokia n97 phone previously and am impressed with BB torch 9800.
I would like to buy one for myself.
I would like to know whether is it possible in new BB to easily call a particular contact from sim memory by simply pressing the corresponding number (1 to 250) followed by # button. ie. if i want to call a contact on the 45th location of my sim card, would i be able to get that number on screen on pressing 45# so that after pressing call key the number gets dailed.
This way i can dail more than 9 numbers (speed dailing) by the above shortcut.
please help. this was not available with nokia n97 which i have stopped using now.
KINDLY GUIDE ME........

interesting way to dial from a SIM. You can assign a letter for speed dialing on the Torch.
once you get used to contacts search, you might not even use the letter speed dialing.

thanks for prompt reply.
Dailing from sim is possible with nokia s60v3, samsung mobiles. i wondered whether it was possible for BB torch. Anyway shortcut for each alphabet also seems exciting.
