Email Account Setup not working

I just updated the software on my blackberry last Saturday (March 3), and I haven't received any emails since.  I have went to Setup> Email Accounts and entered in my password to verify my account and it brings me to a screen that says "Sorry, unable to continue your session.  Please log in again." Once I press OK it takes me back to the Setup main screen.

Re: Email Account Setup not working

Please try this FIRST, using your BlackBerry browser...

1)
• Go to mobile.blackberry.com
• Scroll down to Communication and then to Email.
• Choose the appropriate email set up options.

If that works and completes your email setup/editing, good.

If not, follow these additional instrucitons:

2) Register HRT: (OS5) Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scoll to any line entry and > press the Menu key > and then click Register Now. If you have an OS 6 or OS 7 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced > Host Routing Table, etc.

3) Resend Service Books: KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service

4) Then, with the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

5) Now, return to the 1) mobile.blackberry.com email setup as mentioned above and follow that.

Hopefully that will get things going again for you!

What do you see?

Try this URL:  http://blackberry.com/integrate

I see a Canadian landing site.

It shows an ad for the Bold.

Then when i scroll down it shows featured apps.

Then Blackberry Communities

Then Support which only leads to useless tips

and that is it.

The intergrate site worked tho! Thank you! Is there any idea why I can't set up email using the regular setup app of the phone?

It's a reason I don't know!

But I'm glad you got it configured!

Re: Email Account Setup not working

I know the thread is old, but wanted to say thanks. The link you provided (http://blackberry.com/integrate) worked great. First, I had the same problem as the other poster with the first link. Also, the thread is for the Curve, but it also worked on my Blackberry Bold 9650.

Thanks!
