no i never received such email, i got an error message try9ng to record the email address i use to work, the phone do not allow me regsiter these...what a bummer indeed.

 

phone says:

cannot log in, verify your email and username and password , of error persists contcat ther website? lol..its 3 weeks now, i got this phone for my work.

Email yahoo.com instead of yahoo.fr

Hello there,

 

I can't set my BB Curve 9720 (I believe) to change my sending email address from yahoo.com to yahoo.fr.

I've tried to do it several times but it asks me for a password which is not my yahoo account passeword as it gets refused, over and over again! I'm getting NUTS!

Peter2013, use the BlackBerry email validation tool to determine what might wrong with your email account registration. Read this link:

JSanders, thanks yes it was accpeted this time and i could validated the imap 143. will try the second address too. but then what's next?

 

so both email address validated ok this way, so what should i do now?

Then it should work if setup the same way on your BlackBerry. If it doesn't, I suggest it is time to call your mobile provider tech support.

but it is the same if i use another provider with wifi, movistar is my mobile provider, but if i use svint internet, i cant register the emails too

What I am trying to say is that it has nothing to see with my internet provider, cause who ever i use i have the same problem, i try to register the email not working with another blackberry and same thing happen, it is easy to say, it is your provider, but it is not.

i trashed the phone, i broke it now.

 

i will not buy a blackberry phone anymore.
