Email Notification

Folks;

 My Curve 9300 was indicating that i still had 1 email in my inbox, after I had erased them all. No Biggie - but then it has increased to indicate that I have 3 emails in my box - when in fact I do not have any.

 

Is there a way to erase this?

There are many types of messages, with email merely being a subset.
