Email Reconciliation (I Think) Issue - Answer not in Archives

Last night I wiped my Bold because of sync issues with my Mac.  All is well in that regard.

Now, when I go to delete a message I don't get the option to delete it from my server's inbox.

I have reviewed other support threads, but cannot find email reconciliation anywhere.  Usually told to go to Messages-Options-Email Reconciliation.  It is not there.  Under Messages-Options all I have is General Options and Spell Check.

Thanks for the help.

OK, well those settings should be available right where you said.

Do you have your email accunts configured to the device yet?

With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Look again in the main Messages folder > Menu > Options. Do you see the "Email Reconciliation" function there now?

Re: Email Reconciliation (I Think) Issue - Answer not in Archives

I did as directed and email reconciliation still does not show up.  But, I think I figured out the issue.  I am opening the home folder that is for my combined emails instead of the individual email accounts.  DUH!

However, I do not see the home folder icons for the individual email accounts that I have set up on the Bold.  Before the wipe, they were in the home folder.  How can I create or locate these icons for the individual email accounts?

Thanks for your help and patience.

I have found a thread with similar issues on Crackberry:

Re: Email Reconciliation (I Think) Issue - Answer not in Archives

For some reason, when I wiped my bold and re-established my email accounts, in the Home Folder was an icon for Messages where all my email messages were displayed, but no individual email account icons to be found anywhere on the BlackBerry.

The reconciliation selection resides (under Options) in the individual email icon, not in the general Messages icon that displays all messages received by all email accounts.

Through email setup, I deleted both of my email accounts with BIS and then created new accounts.  The folders for both of my email addresses automatically appeared in the Home Folder.  Opening each account, selecting options, and email reconciliation now works fine.

Re: Email Reconciliation (I Think) Issue - Answer not in Archives

Odd, on mine the Reconcile options appear IN the MAIN messages folder, where the messages come to.

I have my individual account folders hidden, never even look at them since they only duplicate the main folder.
