Email Replies and Forward Get Coded in Base64 - Please Help

All of a sudden, my Torch codes replies and forwards of my emails in base64, making the message unreadable by the recipient.  My service provider, AT&T, told me to check with my email host, which I did, and that's who told me that the device was encoding my emails.

Any idea how to correct this issue?  I need to be able to forward emails from my device.

I've done a factory reset about a hundred times already.  I've resent the service books too.

I've done a search and I see that this was an issue a couple of years ago, but I don't see that it got resolved.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello staceymello,

Welcome to the forums and sorry to hear about your issue.

Have a look at the following article which may be realted to your issue.

Messages appear with base64 encoding in the body when forwarding or replying on the BlackBerry smart...

Hope this helps.
