Email Set Up - wont work

The WiFi is set up perfectly on my BB, as is Bluetooth, and I can get onto the internet. But I've just attempted to set up the email and I keep getting a pop up message stating that my "device had a problem connecting to the server", my data plan is correct, and as I said I can get onto the internet etc... But I'd quite like my email/bbm to work, can someone help at all?

Re: Email Set Up - wont work

While you are certain your data plan is correct, are you absolutely certain you have THE BlackBerry Data Plan... not a generic internet or data plan?

Be certain, call your carrier.

On your device, look at the Manage Connections screen > Services Status.

Beside BlackBerry Internet Service, what is the status there?

Re: Email Set Up - wont work

I'm pretty sure yes! It listed bbm and the email service so I presume it's correct.

Also, it says not connected, so now I'm severely confused Smiley Indifferent

Re: Email Set Up - wont work

I'd be calling you my mobile service provider to check if the correct data plan is provisioned to my account.

I don't work for Orange or RIM/BlackBerry.

If you need a phone number for Orange, look on the internet, or a phone book.
